Business Intelligence Manager – B2C

The Business Intelligence Manager will be responsible for leading the design, development and implementation of critical business intelligence initiatives and projects that will contribute to strategic decision-making across the business unit of the B2C function of our partner.

The mission of the Business Intelligence function is to identify and translate market opportunities into actionable recommendations to achieve individual, team and company revenue profit target.

As Business Intelligence Manager, you will oversee all activities related to data for our client’s business unit. You will need to shape the BI department by setting-up operations and hiring a strong team to deliver on strategic objectives, to exploit in-game data for User Acquisition, Player Segmentation, Targeted Monetisation, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Leading the strategic design, delivery and maintenance of the business intelligence program that will support business unit priorities.
• Provide guidance to Executive management and functional leaders on KPI’s, metrics, and business decisions including accurate analysis of user and business data.
• Develop, track, and enforce consistent data definitions and assumptions across KPI metrics and reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners in product, engineering, operations, finance, and marketing to help develop data-informed business strategies and road maps.
• Design and develop analytical projects to understand key business behaviours that drive customer acquisition, retention, and monetization.
• Develop and implement strategies to support ongoing data management needs, such as governance, technology shifts, and regulatory compliance changes.
• Implement a measurement and tracking system that enables departmental performance benchmarking against best practices across the gaming world.
• Providing high level conceptual and technical expertise and understanding of data warehousing and business intelligence best practice.
• Develop KPI dashboards for Exec Management use
• Manages a team of Analysts and Developers who facilitate BI processes and procedures development and implementation.

Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience in data analysis in the gaming or entertainment industry
• Extensive project and people management experience
• Understanding of advanced statistical methods
• Strong analytical and data modelling skills
• Able to translate analytical findings in actionable recommendations within the game.
• Detailed understanding of mobile players’ behaviours and latest business models
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong game culture and interest in the entertainment world and new technologies
• Excellent English speaking and writing skill.
