Major management structure changes have been happening at Gaming Innovation Group Inc. (GIG) this week.
Gaming Innovation Group Inc. offer three types of services; B2B Performance Marketing, B2C gambling operations and innovative Cloud based services. The new management allocation is a direct result of the rapid growth for GIG.
Mr Mikael Ångman has been appointed the new Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Gaming Innovation Group Inc. (GIG).
Mikael Ångman is presently the CEO and chairman of Mobenga, a Mobile Sports betting technology provider and will begin his new role effective of the 1st of September 2016. Ångman joined Mobenga who are owned by Playtech in 2011 as their COO and has previous experience with top electrical brands including Electrolux and BRIO AB.
Mikael said about the deal;
“I am looking forward to working with Robin and his team at GIG. GIG is to me the most promising player on the market and I’m super excited to join. With my strong experience from Mobenga and Playtech, I am confident to deliver structure and growth to further strengthen the group.”
Furthermore a new Managing Director has been appointed also; Ms Katja Laaksonen has been promoted from Chief Marketing Officer of Guts to MD of Guts.com
Katja Laaksonen joined the company in 2014 following employment at Betsson Group where she held the position of Director of CRM. She will further strengthen the executive management team and will be responsible for GIG’s Gaming, Cloud Services and Digital Marketing teams.
The current Managing Director Robin Reed of Guts.com will effectively now lead the group as CEO and commented on the recent changes;

In this process, we have grown from a dozen employees to now exceeding 160.
