Accountant!

Rebel Status are currently working in partnership with a very impressive iGaming media firm, taking the industry by storm. Due to continued growth and expansion, we are now looking to recruit the following:

Role: Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of management accounts and financial reports.
• Posting & reconciling bank transactions
• General ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
• Management of sending and received invoices
• Assist with the preparation of VAT returns and tax computation
• Supporting the annual audit process
• Ensuring both internal and statutory deadlines are met
• Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
• Analyse financial information and summarize financial status
• Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending
• Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
• Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process
• Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule
• Assist with tax audits and tax returns
• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and
• strengthen internal controls
• Liaise within the finance team to improve financial procedures

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an accountant
• Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and IFRS
• Experience in managing year-end audit processes
• Familiarity with financial accounting statements
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Awareness of business trends
• Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
• ACCA Qualification or equivalent
